Congratulations to Irene Wang in her first full year on Emory University Varsity Golf team during the 2022 season. Her team won the 2022 NCAA Div 3 National Championship in a dramatic victory.
When asked about her involvement in WAB's golf team Coach Terry mentioned her "enthusiasm and team focussed spirit". "she was a very good member and was always very helpful in organizing her team" (Terry Zhang). Irene was a four year HS Varsity Golf team member as a WAB Tiger and it looks like that spirit carried over to her team at Emory University.
She was also named to the WGCA Scholar All-American Team… Was also named to the 2022 UAA Spring All-Academic Team.
