Congratulations to Victoria L on winning the Sept 22-24th China Amateur Golf Tour Championship: Guangdong stop!
Victoria has been working hard on her craft over the years and even through the covid pandemic continued to train and remain focus on her goals. Being a student-athlete especially through the last four years would have been difficult for any person, but with hard work and the support of her family, friends, coaches, and teachers, Victoria continues chase her goals!
"The tournament was great! The biggest challenge I faced was in the second day, the girl in second was playing very good during the second day of the tournament, she's been trying to lessen the gap between me and her, and I was getting a bit nervous…..", Victoria L said when asked about the tournament and some of the challenges she faced.
The young athlete has faced many experiences already and shows great maturity on really focussing on being the "best me" she said when asked how she faces challenging moments.
Her favorite highlight she had this tournament took place on the last day of the tournament, because after hitting 2 pars in the first 2 holes, which gave her confidence, she then scored a birdie on the 3rd hole! Playing like that would make even the seasoned golfer excited!
