The JV Boys volleyball team played in our end of season tournament this past Friday and Saturday. The athletes were excited and eager to put their season long dedication and hard work to the test. It was a busy schedule with three games back-to-back Friday afternoon. Through a consistent focus and sustained endurance, the team finished the first day with 3 wins against BSB, HBJ and THIS. Continuing with the rhythm on Saturday morning, the team defeated the host team ISB. They had found their path to success by using their developed skills, not worrying about mistakes or unlucky plays and focusing on the next rally. In the finals against Harrow, the second set was quite exciting with the small gym full of cheering supporters for both teams. With consistent serving, clean passing and phenomenal hitting our WAB JV Boys were the undeniable champions.
All season, through their focus at practice, uplifting cheering from the bench and working together on the court, the athletes demonstrated the value of what they learned through this victory. The coaches, the volleyball program and the school are proud of them. Go Tigers!
